This workshop will examine and explore the elements of composition that make up music and how to use them to your advantage in choreography design: comprehend the dynamics behind syncopation, measures and phrases and how they can seamlessly link choreography blocks together; train yourself to rhythmically “catch the beat”. At the end of this session, walk away with a simple system of “working papers” that allows you to organize movements sequences to music, artfully, progressively and with less hassle.
